Logistics Contract Manager
Highly skilled and experienced (at least 5 years) in International Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance procedures, standard shipping terms, with excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills.
Must have a good knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook and be able to communicate with people at all levels by e-mail and telephone.
The job is varied and involves general office administration, overseeing contract management, liaising with warehouse staff and Transport companies.
In addition to this, the Logistics/Contract Manager must also keep the Managing Director and General Manager updated as to incoming and outgoing materials, monitor outside stock and liaise with internal Accounts department. A sense of urgency and ability to work within strict time lines is essential.
The career minded candidate will need the potential to help grow an expanding Logistics Department in a rapidly growing company and therefore possess the necessary leadership skills to do so.
Must be confident, smart in appearance, reliable and although overtime is not paid, willingness to stay late if workloads requires.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, prioritise daily workload and work independently as well as a member of a very and energetic strong team.
It is important for this person to be accurate, discreet, flexible and calm.
