Business Development Manager - South England
Must have strong Freight Forwarding Logistics background, Airfreight advantageous.
To support Management through day to day contact with freight forwarding sales targets and existing customers
To provide tangible growth in business to the business, through developing a sales pipeline and closing of business encompassing but not limited to AIR freight
To provide customer oriented analytical support to the business
To produce a weekly report detailing all sales activity
To maintain average of 12 face to face sales calls per week
To make proactive targeted telesales calls based on an extended sales pipeline and record accordingly
To produce a market overview / report on a monthly basis
To produce report on customer budget monthly achievement

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Comprehensive knowledge and experience about the 3PL industry; solid industry networks and contacts
Excellent computer literacy
Air Freight background advantageous
QUALIFICATIONS
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (minimum requirement of grade C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics)

Location: Covering the Southern region and there is a requirement to spend some time at head office, where the logistics team are based.
