Sales Executive

Main Responsibilities
· Building a sales pipeline, tracking and managing the complete sales process end to end, from opportunity qualification to closure of new business
· Communicating with in/outbound leads via multiple channels (phone, email and social media)
· Collaborating closely with the members of the inside sales team on finding ways to improve team performance and exceed sales targets
· Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plan and strategies that will guarantee
achievement of target
· Recording sales and order information to assist the business expansion
· Give prompt reports on crucial issues to direct senior, suggest answers where obtainable
· Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
· Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
· Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
· Gathering market and customer information
· Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
· Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
· Advising on forthcoming service developments and discussing special promotions
· Reviewing your sales performance to meet or exceed the monetary/volume targets set
· Securing new business to meet or exceed the monetary/volume target set
· Meeting or exceeding the monthly level of customer visits/calls as set by management
· Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
· Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
· Feeding future buying trends back to the company
· Any ad-hoc assignments as requested by management

Skills and Experience required:
· Can demonstrate outstanding performance within a previous sales role
· Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals
· Previous experience in facing customers
· Background in Freight Forwarding/Shipping/Logistics (beneficial)
· Proficient communicator; verbal and written
· Organisation skills
