Job Title: Account Manager - Sales

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri 0900-1730

Salary: Basic up to GBP30k dependant on experience (+ commission), laptop/mobile and company care are included.

Overview

To conduct daily sales visits to the customer base with a view to promoting the companys products and tariffs. Your role will be to nurture existing customers, ensuring long term relationships are maintained and maximising sales opportunities. Your role will also involve expanding the business by acquiring new clients throughout South East England, with specific focus on East & West Sussex, Kent, Essex, and parts of London. The majority of the week is spent on sales visits to existing & new clients, with one day at week at the office for a sales de-brief and to complete any administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities

Maintaining and expanding relationships with all existing clients
Using tools available to secure new business throughout the product range
Resolving customer issues and liaising with the customer service team where required
Meeting with clients face to face
Promoting the business by up selling or cross selling to existing client
Identifying opportunities for business growth and achieving set monthly targets
Operating as the central point of contact for assigned customers

Candidate Requirement

Sales experience essential, preferably withing the Airfreight industry
Ability to discuss and negotiate complex issues in a clear manner
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to create and develop loyalty and longevity amongst the customer bas
A hight degree of initiative and self sufficiency with good time management abilities
A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
