Job Description


· React to quotations received in a timely manner. Optimum turnaround time;
§ 1 hour of receipt for 360 quotes
§ 2hrs of receipt for FOB CFR quotes
§ 24hrs of receipt for EXW DAP quotes
· All quotes to be issued via Topaz to give full visibility of how many quotes are being issued per client. With the exception of office/agent rates, nothing agreed on email (until 360 limitations are resolved)
· Negotiate rates with suppliers (depots/hauliers/offices) and provision costs
· Monitor personal and team workload throughout the day to ensure completion of all departmental tasks
· LCL import/export rates, refer to our tariffs for freight and UK haulage
· Follow up quotes given seeking clients feedback on how competitive our rates are.
· Keep a log of clients feedback and circulate to sales team
· When a booking is received based on a quote given, liaise with booking department supplying full cost and shipment details (e.g. EXW costs to Nominations / DAP costs to exports)
