Ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of working in a finance team as below, however any areas not known, training and support can be offered

Job Summary

The Finance Administrator will be responsible for the site transactions and analysis on transactions for Airfreight operation. Taking ownership of the local Profit and Loss accounts (P&L) and delivering financial and statistical KPI data for the Airfreight leadership team.

Understanding the importance of balancing a fast-paced operation with accurate and reliable financial reporting and analysis will be a key aspect of this role. Sharing best practice with those around and encourage positive change to ensure stakeholders and departments are aligned to aid and improve on financial performance.

Role & Responsibilities

· Support the Finance Manager in financial and management reporting and analysis.
· Manage and regulate local P&L changes.
· Sales Ledger Invoicing
· Build an in-depth knowledge of cost and revenue drivers and their impact on the financial results weekly, monthly, seasonally, and annually.
· Provide analysis and insight into specific business unit performance, identifying areas of improvement to drive profitability and support strategic business goals.
· Work alongside the Finance Manager to prepare annual budgets and weekly forecasts, along with ongoing variance tracking, analysis, and causal reporting.
· Work alongside the Finance Manager to provide analysis on financial performance to key stakeholders.
· Support the development of standardised ways of working.
· Develop strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across the site and wider organization.
· Support the Business Support Team with general administration duties
· Also being part of the Business Support Team, this role requires general administration duties and support to the team itself but also to the wider operation including other areas of the business.
