This Freight Forwarding company based near Staines are now recruiting for a head of Accounts & Administration. The ideal candidate will ideally have accounts experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
The role will involve overseeing two accounts clerks, heading up the section and assisting the MD with a range of duties. The key duties of the role are listed as follows:
Data Entry - overseeing all invoices (thousands a month) & costs sent to customers. This will be approx. 40% of the entire job role.
Sending customer statements as required.
Import of new accounts onto Sage.
Invoices uploaded onto Sage.
Customer invoice queries.
Over-seeing debt collection.
Check supplier invoices.
Taking credit card payments and direct debit requests and settlements.
Control of company banking.
Liaising with our part-time qualified Accountant & pay roll officer.
Office key holder.
Company records manager.
Company salary administration. E.G sickness & over-time.
Administration - Including; company vehicles, company insurances, memberships, holiday chart, supplier ordering, and supplier rates.
