The key objective of the Pricing Desk is to ensure that all rate enquiries generated from the commercial team and the Logistics network are responded to within the deadline and that all requests are recorded and monitored so that the best pricing levels are provided to the customers and network at all time.
Provide initial point of contact for the network for the receipt of pricing, ensuring that all requests are responded to within 4 hours
Liaison with The Gateway division for any supporting assistance on Airline choices/services
To manage and control; follow up measure and analyse success of all quote requests
Assist product managers with spot pricing for sales team
Operational knowledge of Airfreight inbound & outbound
Accustomed to working to fixed deadlines and in pressurised situations
Friendly calm and professional manner
Knowledge of Airfreight pricing (import & export)
