Assisting the Office Supervisor with the day to day operation of the Export Department. You will be working as part of a team dealing with customer queries and enquiries to support our clients Customers.
Main accountabilities include:
Completion of Export Files to required standards.
Full compliance with instructions on Export documentation.
Completion of shared mailbox to required standards.
Ensuring compliance with destination instructions.
Customer query resolution where appropriate.
Liaising with the Warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Liaising with the Import department where required.
Liaising with the Commercial department where applicable.
Assist in reception and receiving area when required.
Assist in the maintenance of filing to the required standard.
Covering for the Office Supervisor when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven record of accurate Export Clerk Duties/Responsibilities.
Ability to work on own initiative and cover Supervisor Duties when required.
Commercially aware (check Weigh/Dim, Transport Requirements, X-Ray breakdown)
Good working knowledge of QD Reports, Flight Status, Board Sheets, Post Flights, Call Overs, Booking Screens, Dense Shipping Management, NES, Pallet Tag.
Sound knowledge of Bond Checks with ability to efficiently communicate results to clients and branches.
Sound knowledge of ASM Sequoia and CHIEF Systems.
Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook and Excel.
Excellent proven Customer Service Skills
Excellent attention to detail.
Completion of Aviation Security Certificate Level CO. Training will be provided.
Salary GBP18,000 plus shift pay (see below)
The hours are either
Monday to Friday: 19.00 - 03.00hrs shift pay approx. GBP4,500.00.
Tuesday to Friday: 19.00 - 05.00 with half hour lunch 3 days and one shift would be 19.00 - 04.30 shift pay approx. GBP4,200.00.
