Job Description

Our client are seeking to recruit a full time Air Import Clerk. This position will involve processing daily Airfreight import shipments and ensuring customs compliance in a timely and accurate manner.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years Air Export experience. Salary will be up to a maximum of GBP26k based on experience and hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30.

Specific Responsibilities:

File raising
Printing of pre alerts
Checking flight information
Checking for arrivals
Contacting consignee's for clearance instructions
Hand over's to other agents
Preparing and submitting customs entries through customs system
Emailing collection orders and delivery notes to our hauliers
Accounts queries
Invoicing and crediting job files
Liaising with customers
Liaising with overseas offices and agents
Responsible to make every experience a positive one for the internal and external customer
Responsible for delivering consistent and excellent levels of service to internal & external customers, overseas offices and agents
