Job Description

1 x Air Import Customer Service Clerk ( Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm plus rota for Weekend )
Salary: GBP25k-GBP26k per annum
The job
in Master airway bills and House airway bills to in house AS400 system
Raising ETSF records into ASM system
Arranging all arrivals and collections
Liasing with Warehouse and Transport for collections
Managing any missing or damage freight
Notifies brokers and consignees of arrival of shipments, distributes documents to brokers and/or consignees. Collects receivables where applicable
Arranging inbound and outbound T1 movements
Using ASM or equivalent software
Handling Pre Alert documentation from Origin worldwide offices
Start to end Customer Service including arrangement of Customs Clearance and delivery.
Invoicing clients

What is the role all about?

You will be heavily involved with Customer Service Team from handling all aspects of Air Import Operations start to end in a timely manner to ensure the smooth movement of consignments
Dealing with queries from clients.
Supporting the Air Import operations team fully including a rota to work weekends.
Using ASM or equivalent software for completion of creating ETSF records
Working weekends on a rota with the team to ensure cover is provided approx. once a month

Requirements

5 year experience within a Freight Forwarder specifically handling Air Import Operations start to end, including Import Consolidations. A vast knowledge of the Air Import operations and the shed operators are the Cargo Centre ( LHR ). ETSF knowledge is a must in order to work with Ground Handling Agents at LHR.
