Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Import Gateway Operator to join our client's fantastic Air Operating Centre at Heathrow.
Reporting into the Air Operations Manager you will handle Air Import shipments. Liaising with overseas agents & airline handling agents arranging renoms, BIs / handover invoices, T1 discharge, create records ensure customs clearance is completed , bond check, cass invoices.
Working closely with the warehouse and the Import customer service team and overseas offices.
Track and Trace shipments, milestone updates, archiving documents.
You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.
The shift pattern for this role is 4on 4off 7am to 7pm
Our ideal candidate will have airfreight operations experience, able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of imports, ideally have previous experience of working with Cargowise. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a natural and strong communicator with the ability to problem solve and adapt.

Salary including shift allowance GBP28600 to GBP29700
