Livestock Import/Customer Service Clerk

Job Description
Liaising with clients face to face and by phone/email
Import customs clearance on Sequoia
Liaising with authorities such as DEFRA and HARC staff with regard to paperwork as well as HMRC and Airlines
Collect payments
Resolve any irregularities
Update files on Boxtop

This is a weekend shift of Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon 10 hours per day, with the normal hours being 0900-1900, the exception is the Monday shift which is a late shift with hours of 1500-0100

Person Specification
Essential: Driving license
Excellent communicator
Strong attention to detail
Has an interest in animals & their wellbeing
Ability to prioritise
Work well independently (as the role will involve working alone at times)
Good spoken and written English
Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office programmes

The position will be very customer service focused, and will involve face to face customer service along with phone & email. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of Airfreight Import processes, and have customer service experience.
