Job Description: Field Sales Person, Freight Forwarding, covering London Heathrow
New business development covering multi model transportation with a key focus on Air, Road and Logistics.
To achieve 5-10 customer meetings per week
Working closely with the commercial teams, product & network, to develop and promote new business in to the local branch
To ensure that all customers are fully aware of the full complement
of services and solutions
Update all activities within the CRM system
Manage and achieve face to face customers meeting per week, including feedback to the operations management.
Closely working on active shared pipeline with the commercial management
Constantly review customer/route gross margin reports to identify areas of improvement in gross margin return
Ensure that all customer service requirements are being adhered to, and report any service failures or service observations to the respective operations manager.
Company reporting - reports are managed and submitted in a timely and accurate manner
Identification of new opportunities and trade lanes in line with company procedures.
Direct customer facing negotiation skills
Business development experience
A-Level academics or higher
Must have Supply Chain experience and have a proven track record in business development
