Sales Negotiation Agent required to work within this busy logistics agent
Salary cGBP24-GBP26k per annum + benefits including Pension / Private healthcare / on site parking.-
Ideal candidate will have:
2 years experience in the airfreight industry required & ideally some internal Sales/Telesales background and familiar with negotiating on pricing.
Provide a full reservations and fast service for all customers for all products in the region, Dealing with all telephoned & email sales enquiries from the customer for on spot pricing Dealing with all telephoned servicing queries from the customer for both export & Import Issues. Proactively monitoring all consignments being processed through the station or region. Work with the line Manager and the operational management team to establish a customer driven culture within local station(s) Maximise business opportunities through telephone sales This is a key role operating at the customer interface. It requires an appreciation of the air freight industry and the processes. The ability to liaise and negotiate with customers and colleagues is essential. The role demands a high degree of customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills for building up relationships. Sales agents need to understand the prevailing market and exceed the business expectations of their customers.
Hours - Monday to Friday 9:30am - 6pm - 1 hour for lunch.
Potential to earn overtime at weekends when required but this would be very much adhoc.
