An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customs Entry Clerk to join a Freight Forwarder in the Kent area. The position will be covering both Import and Export entries and will require applicants to have previous experience in the Freight Forwarding industry and in particular customs entries. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also required.
Must have previous experience with Customs to apply for this role.
Arranging Import clearances for FCL and LCL consignments on chief using Multifreight (at the moment)
Classifying commodity codes
Use of Destin8 and CNS port systems
Invoicing Duty/Vat paid on our deferment
Advising Import operations when consignments are cleared for them to arrange onward transport you need to have experience within this role to apply.
