Export Customer Relationship Coordinator - Kent
At least 2 years experience needed in a similar role with a freight forwarder
We have an opening within the Export Customer Relationship Team at our Kent Branch. This interesting role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is either competent in Overland and/or Ocean Exports or has an understanding of Freight Forwarding. The successful person will be confident in building and maintaining relationships with customers in order to generate and increase the business.
Main duties include all aspects of Export documentation, computerised quotations, follow up, taking bookings, following customers requirements, processing into computerised operating system and liaising with internal operational team together with Field Sales Team.
The successful candidate will be exceptionally customer focussed, with a confident, friendly disposition and ideally have a proven track record within freight forwarding industry, although this is not essential as training will be given. They will have good communication and sales skills, a flexible approach to work, have a can do attitude and be able to develop effective relationships with customers and colleagues. Above all they will be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours)
