Overall objective or main function of the job:
Responsible for maintaining customer contact, by accepting bookings, providing quotations and dealing with any enquiries or requests; ensure correct Freight is applied for each booking, expand existing Customer base, handle quotes day to day within the client base for the FCL product and introduce portfolio of services to potential Customers ; your goal is to maximise opportunities. In order, process rate requests,liaison with external sales team and customer services departments and maintaining accurate communication, responses to all parties.

Experience in one of these sectors: Freight Forwarding, Shipping, NVOCC, Logistics- Desired
Commercial awareness and able to commute across all levels
Support the client in problem solving by building an understanding of their business and the problems that impact on it, reacting in a manner which improves the outcome from the clients perspective
Introducing the organization and the services
Contacting lapsed Customers and re-introducing the services to them
Dealing with enquiries, problem solving and look for ways to improve service to the customer to enable efficiency increase and maximization of profits
Great communication & interpersonal skills
Strong negotiator, enthusiastic and overall team player!!
