Global provider who is known for their comprehensive logistics solutions worldwide is now seeking to recruit an additional Export Road Freight Operator for their Trafford Park station. Long served operations, growing from strength to strength and success flows through their routes!
About the role; Responsible for on line bookings, manifesting daily export trailers and send related pre-advices, updating collection and delivery status in a timely manner. Contacting hauliers to provide quotations for special collections/deliveries. Transport planning for same day collections. Monitoring and deal with transport queries by liaising with another depot. Customer service- dealing with queries from customers, subcontractors and drivers and assist in their enquiries via phone and email, ensuring satisfactory and timely resolution. Working with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth and efficient movement of all shipments. Responsible for end-to-end control of all shipments coming into and out of road freight depot in Trafford Park
Key skills & attributes
Previous experience in ROAD FREIGHT Exports or EXPORT Transport Logistics 1-2 years minimum
Highly organised and a team player
Deadline focused
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work well under pressure

Salary Band=GBP22,000-GBP25,000
Monday - Friday, 13:00hrs- 22:00hrs, 40 hours per week
