The role entails;
Handling Ocean Import Accounts
Daily communication with Customers & Suppliers
Liaising with other UK offices and overseas agents
Identifying new opportunities with current customers outside the existing scope
Consistently executing daily operations including Customs Clearances
Rate negotiations/Tariffs
Applicants Profile;
Freight Forwarding Industry knowledge -Up to date
OCEAN FREIGHT FORWARDING IMPORTS
Customer services orientated, high level of understanding of todays r customers business, and be able to suggest and deliver initiatives that will benefit those customers and assist in their longer term retention
Commercial awareness
Enthusiastic and driven personality
