Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic FREIGHT individual who is highly organised and can meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and someone driven to providing a high level of customer service. The main focus of this role is to ensure OCEAN IMPORT OPERATIONAL cycle is managed proactively and efficiently. You will also be supporting the Client Manager(s) in operational and developmental tasks.

Quotations & taking bookings
Dealing with niche customers, overseas agents & suppliers
FCL/LCL shipments
Main Imports from Far East, Europe and USA
Customs entries/clearances
Freight/Shipping documentation
Raising duty/vat invoices
System correcting, updating and tracking reports
Handling shipments from booking at origin through to delivered
Reporting customer trends to management with and identifying key areas to improve
Actively looking for opportunities for growth & development
Undertaking tasks and responsibilities as instructed
Customer care and problem solving
Working as part of a larger team and continually improving processes
