This storage & distribution company located close to Heathrow are now looking to add an account manager to their team.
This role will involve arranging movements of antiques, furniture, and pieces of artwork. On a daily basis you will talk to Interior designers, private collectors & other clients regarding their logistics requirements.
Our client is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic & hardworking individual.
You will be responsible for maintaining a good relationship between clients and the company, taking instructions by phone & Email in respect of collections, deliveries and releases whilst making sure that these are fully understood and carried out in a prompt and timely manner keeping them fully informed and advised on the progress and costs of their shipments.
Knowledge of bond procedures would also be an advantage.
You should be required to carry out site visits to assess any packing requirements from single items to whole house moves destined for the UK and worldwide, preparing and presenting quotations based on your findings.
You will also be required to assist with the end of month accounts for all storage clients, assessing usage, preparing invoices, statements and chasing any outstanding monies.
You will also be required to assist & instruct and manage the more junior members of the department, liaise closely with the warehouse staff & other departments whilst ensuring that all paperwork is in place and correct.
You should be able to use Excel, Word & Outlook to a high standard, great attention to detail is a must, good communications skills and competence in both English & Mathematics.
