PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK

Salary of £18,000 – £20,000

Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm

Based in Burton On Trent (DE14)

We have a new vacancy working the in the international Shipping industry for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small & busy Accounts division, based in Burton (DE14).

The duties for the PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK will include to receive, check and verify incoming purchase invoices, identify and discrepancies, investigate and resolve purchase invoice errors and queries, enter the details onto the system and pass correct invoices for payment.

The role will then develop to include Credit Control in the future.

The role requires previous experience of working in accounts & Purchase Ledger or Purchase Invoice checking and a candidate who is professional and hard working, along with good IT skills and an ability to work quickly and efficiently.
