Import Forwarding Clerk
Duties Include:
· To ensure that customers Import booking are handled effectively and timely
· Quote on new business and follow- up quotes
· Liaising with customer and consignees
· Processing and monitoring of Import bookings
· Liaise with consignees, quotes and arrange delivery
· Procure rates and find solutions to any queries
· Raise sales invoices and finalise job files
· Follow-up with customers and consignees to secure new business
Key Skills:
· UPTO 5 YEARS experience in a similar role
· Good time and organisational skills
· Good telephone manners and technique
· Good communication skills with co-workers
· Good IT skills Incl. Microsoft office, Multifreight, Destin8,CNS
· Understanding the importance of companys branding, market mix, customer relations
· Thoroughly understand all aspects of required import clearance procedures and documentation
· Thoroughly understand transport facilities and destinations.
