Sea Freight Customer Service Clerk

We are looking to recruit an experienced Sea Freight Customer Service Clerk. You must have experience or working in a similar role and experience of using industry related systems is essential, such as Data freight, CNS compass, CHIEF and Destin8. Knowledge of Vessel schedules and UK delivery options is also key.

Working in this busy office, the successful candidate will ensure that our clients receive excellent customer service by providing accurate information; responding to requests; resolving problems in a timely manner and building and maintaining good working relationships with external and internal stakeholders

Key duties:
· Handling and receipting of original customer documentation
· Printing and sorting of customer documentations
· Checking documentation matches that of the in house system
· Chasing missing documentation
· Inputting data into the house system
· Communicating with client and suppliers
· Obtaining pre-booking from customer to avoid delays upon customs clearance
· Complete post- clearance amendments

Key Skills:
· Good Communication
· Good working knowledge of word and Excel
· Attention to detail and ability to priorities workload is also key
