Job Description
We are working with a Small/Medium sized Freight Forwarder, who are looking to recruit a FInance Assistant with fluent Mandarin.
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Role and Responsibilities
· Responsibility for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable - all ledger administration associated with this.
· Managing ECMS UK accounts and producing Management Accounts report for P&L / Trial balance.
· Responsible for validating invoices and uploading cost data into the companys accounting systems.
· Liaising internally with operations and other colleagues to ensure invoices and costs are recorded and validated in a timely manner.
TASKS
· Producing P&L and trial balance reports on time
· Producing cash flow reports for expenditure/income
· Daily/weekly AP tracking and ensuring payments received on time in liaison with the Sales and Customer Service teams.
· Daily/weekly regular cash flow, margin and other reports including ad-hoc project reports as required.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
· Collectively with other members of team, responsible for all Health and Safety rules and practices within the operation for staff, visitors, drivers.
· Contributes to the overall site safety and codes of conduct.
SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES
· Operating in the propriety company systems OA, Exact and others as required
· Compliance with all regulatory standards for accounting in the UK and CN
REPORTING AND ADMIN
· Ensuring reporting is timely and accurate.
· Providing internal cost and service reports as required
· Producing ad-hoc reports as required
· Participating in weekly meetings and presenting service performance data as required
GENERAL
· Working together with other team members. other departments and external partners
· Work within the company rules (employee handbook) and code of conduct with particular regard to both internal and external communication
