Job Description

Minimum 1 year Transport experience within Courier Company

Good IT skills/telephone manner.

Reporting to the Assistant Transport Manager, this person will be responsible for successfully supporting the transport function. This will include the daily co-ordination and monitoring of drivers and Sub Contractors.

Develop excellent working relationships with Internal departments and Overseas offices/agents. Develop excellent working relationship with external suppliers.

Produce daily reports as instructed by the Assistant Transport Manager.

Arranging receipt and inward processing off all shipments. To minimise the use of Sub-contractors with focus being on profit maximisation

Ensure All PODs are recorded within the in house system within the correct agreed timeframes.

Flexibility in working hours. normally 10.00 - 19.00 Monday - Friday
