Kirsty joined First Choice Staff in April 2008 as Branch Manager of our new Birmingham office. Supported by her team, she has firmly established First Choice across the Midlands region and Central England as a leading recruiter of Permanent and Temporary personnel for clients in the Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics and Warehousing sectors, including major customers which have chosen First Choice as a Preferred Supplier.
In February 2021, Kirsty was promoted to Director and is playing a leading role in the growth and diversification of our UK recruitment services, both in terms of geographies and industry sectors.
As well as her regional management role, Kirsty is responsible for Group Compliance, providing the support and guidance our Branch Managers and Industry Specialists need to ensure we consistently meet all regulatory and client requirements. This incorporates our compliance with Agency Worker’s Employment Rights, GDPR and the storage and control of candidate data, client Standard Operating Procedures, and Auditing, as well as working closely with the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), which drives our industry standards and empowers us to build better futures for their candidates and themselves.
