The new Agency Workers Regulation
The Agency Workers Directive is a piece of EU legislation that will be implemented in the UK by October 2011. It has huge implications for temporary work agencies and the contractors, freelancers or temps who find work through them. We’ve developed this blog with three aims: to help the industry get to grips with what the legislation means, to listen to the views of everyone affected and to work collaboratively to find legitimate solutions that will protect the robust employment sector in the UK, whilst supporting the rights of lower paid agency workers not to be exploited.
