Primarily duties but not limited to the following;
Includes Quoting/Reservations/Booking airfreight shipments via phone and email.
Entering bookings in-house system and updating airline software accordingly.
Ensuring at every opportunity is utilised to maximum effect.
Identifying customer needs and providing solutions.
Dealing with enquiries, problem solving and following up thereafter to ensure excellence of service across all levels.

Requirements
Preferred experience of Customer Services in sectors such as:
Airline or Aviation or Air Exports/Imports or Air Logistics
Air Logistics Graduates with customer service mentality are welcome to apply too.
Excellent customer services, outstanding communication and relationship building qualities
Should be available. Board on and we are keen to go!

General Duties:

To take job orders from clients that include routing, classifying of service type, establishing a deadline etc
To assist in providing clients with continuous notification and follow up, which includes flight and customs delays, proof of deliveries, charges, resolution etc
Ensure customs are given all available service options
Set up and organise special deliveries
Help develop and maintain relationships with clients
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Position: Internal Pricing/Sales Coordinator
Location: Nr Ashford, Surrey
Salary: Circa GBP25k+ (based on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hour per week

This role would be ideal for an individual with some prior experience with freight forwarding pricing or sales, or for a current freight forwarding operational person who wishes to progress into a sales-based role.

Main Duties:

Handling quote enquiries from overseas partners and UK clients
Finding best solutions to ensure the gaining of new business
Liaising with regional offices
Following up on quotes, negotiating where necessary to ensure new business
Liaise with operations in order to fully meet the clients expectations
Keeping London sales team informed on any new business leads
Providing quotes for Air, Sea & Road, both import and export

Hours: Mon-Fri 0900-1730
Salary: Circa GBP30k

In this role you will be ensuring the smooth running of the LHR Air Export department.

You will need to be an effective leader and communicator with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

You will be responsible for 6 Air Export clerks and have responsibility for managing, motivate and developing the skills withing the team.

Experience in the Export freight forwarding is essential for this role, you must also have the skills necessary to successfully manage a team. Prior team leader or supervisory experience in the industry would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure and be motivated to achieve.

NEW opportunity at a modern and fast growing Freight Forwarding company based closed to Ashford in Surrey.

INTERNAL SALES COORDINATOR, the ideal candidate will ideally have sales experience within a Freight Forwarding company, or have Freight Forwarding operational experience with a desire to move into a sales role.

Key duties will include:

Understanding customers needs and offering best advice and service options
Identifying potential opportunities for new business
Following up on sales enquiries from customers by email & telephone
Build on existing & prospective client relations
Route qualifies sales opportunities to the appropriate sales executive for further development and closure
Marketing & research to enhance new business opportunities
Working towards KPI's / targets set by the line manager
To assist with tenders and special projects
General sales admin as required
