- Our client is looking for a Trainee Import Customs Brokerage Agent - you will be trained in the following
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service.
WHAT YOU DO:
Tasks and Duties
Receive documents.
Prepare customs entries in Customsware or other customs software.
Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments.
Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING TO US :
Previous office experience
Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
Fluent in English

Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing
Ensures smooth and timely freight process flow according to Company operational procedures. Follows customer's standard operating
procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues. Consistently meets KPI standards, as per company's procedures.
Timely and Accurate Data Entry
Ensures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to Company operational procedures and customer
requirements. Monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution.
Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting
Invoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Company and customer requirements. Properly provisions
service provider charges to avoid reserves. Follows proper credit approval processes in order to minimize risk and protect the company.
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Salary will be minimum wage or thereabouts
