Description: Great opportunity for a Logistics Van Driver to join a well-established global logistics organization.

You will be working Monday to Friday 08:30-18:30, with a 1h lunch break

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments.

Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to an allocated and realistic number of shipments per day.

Complete daily safety checks, safe loading, securing load of vehicle, maintenance, legislative regulations and adherence to company driving standards (including tachograph vehicles).

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and not disqualified in the last five years.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Good time management skills to meet delivery schedules.

Prior experience and good geographical knowledge would be advantageous but not required and training will be provided.

In Return:

Basic Hourly Rate = GBP14.25 (hours worked between 08:00am - 19:00hrs)

Overtime Hourly Rate = GBP21.38 (over 45 weekly hours)
