The Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service. You'll have the opportunity to bring creativity to menu development while managing a motivated kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food and service.
Manage all kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering, and budgeting.
Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards.
Control food costs, wastage, and labour expenditure.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff.
Create and develop menus, specials, and seasonal offerings.
Work closely with management to support business goals and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer experiences.
