Salary: Up to GBP32,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday Friday
A well-established, medium-sized freight forwarder based in the Heathrow/Surrey area is looking to expand its operations team with the addition of an experienced Multimodal Export Operator.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing export shipments from start to finish across multiple transport modes, ensuring every movement is handled efficiently, compliantly and with a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Managing export shipments via Air, Sea and Road Freight
Coordinating shipments from booking through to final departure
Completing CDS customs entries and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
Preparing all export documentation accurately and efficiently
Liaising with customers, overseas agents, hauliers, shipping lines and airlines
Providing proactive shipment updates and resolving any operational issues
Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service
Supporting the wider operations team during busy periods
Essential Requirements
Previous experience within a freight forwarding export operations role
Practical operational knowledge of Air, Sea and Road Freight
Experience completing CDS customs entries
CargoWise experience is essential
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced freight environment
Confident communicator with a proactive and customer-focused approach
