NIGHT SHIFT: 12:00am–9:00am / 1:00am–10:00am

We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy logistics operation in Saltley. Working within a fast-paced pallet network environment, you will oversee the night shift, ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately, and on time while leading a team to achieve operational targets.

This role is ideal for someone with previous logistics experience, particularly within the pallet network industry, who is looking to develop their career into a management position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the night shift warehouse operation, including inbound, outbound, and trunk movements.


• Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team to deliver excellent performance.


• Ensure all palletised freight is loaded, unloaded, scanned, and handled accurately.


• Allocate resources to meet operational demands and service deadlines.


• Monitor freight quality and resolve any damage or labelling issues.


• Maintain high standards of health & safety, housekeeping, and compliance.


• Supervise the safe use of forklifts and warehouse equipment.


• Monitor warehouse KPIs, including productivity, loading accuracy, and damage rates.


• Work closely with the transport team to ensure efficient vehicle movements.


• Assist with staff training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Maintain accurate warehouse records and operational reports.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse supervisory experience within logistics.


• Experience working in a pallet network environment is highly desirable.


• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.


• Knowledge of warehouse health & safety procedures.


• A proactive approach with the ambition to progress into a management role.
