GLUING MACHINE OPERATOR
Machine Operating / FMGC / Packaging
Marston Green, B37
Rotational Shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm- 10pm / 10pm-6am plus occasional overtime.
Pay: Mornings & Afternoons £15.10ph basic plus £3.02ph shift premium (Total £18.12ph) & Nights £15.10ph plus £4.50ph shift premium (Total £19.60ph)
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with previous experience working with a manufacturing environment, full machine training will be provided however, applicants must have previous experience operating manufacturing machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the BOBST Masterfold folder-gluer.
- Produce high-quality folding cartons to customer specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve the best quality and performance.
- Carry out quality checks throughout production.
- Complete efficient job changeovers to minimise downtime.
- Identify and resolve basic machine or production issues.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
