- Warehouse Administrator
Location: Feltham
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: GBP35,000 per annum
Start Date: Mid-October
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join a successful business as they establish a brand-new warehouse operation in Feltham.
This is a slightly different opportunity to a traditional Warehouse Administrator role. We are looking for someone who can become a key support within the new operation, working closely with the Warehouse & Transport Manager and wider warehouse team to keep the administrative and operational side of the business running smoothly.
The role would suit someone with experience across warehouse, transport, logistics or operations administration.
The Role
You will provide administrative and operational support across the warehouse and transport function, helping to ensure that goods, paperwork, stock movements and deliveries are accurately recorded and efficiently managed.
As this is a new warehouse operation, there will be plenty of opportunity to develop processes, bring organisation to the role and support the management team as the site grows.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Warehouse & Transport Manager.
·Maintain accurate warehouse and transport records and documentation.
·Process goods-in and goods-out paperwork.
·Record and monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies.
·Assist with delivery and collection planning and coordination.
·Liaise with drivers, transport providers, suppliers and internal teams.
·Prepare delivery notes, paperwork and other relevant documentation.
·Update internal systems and spreadsheets accurately.
·Assist with stock checks and warehouse administration.
·Track incoming and outgoing goods and provide updates when required.
·Help ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
·Assist with invoicing, purchase orders or other administrative processes where required.
·Help develop and improve administrative processes as the new warehouse operation grows.
·Provide general operational support wherever required.
We're looking for someone who:
·Has previous experience within warehouse, transport, logistics or a similar operational environment.
·Is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
·Has excellent attention to detail.
·Is confident using Microsoft Office.
·Can communicate confidently with warehouse teams, drivers, suppliers and management.
·Is comfortable working with systems, paperwork and data.
·Can work independently and use their own initiative.
·Is proactive and enjoys finding solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do.
·Is happy working in a warehouse environment rather than being purely office-based.
·Has a practical, hands-on approach and is happy to get involved when required.
