Heathrow | GBP19.60 GBP24.70 per hour PAYE | Days & Nights | Ongoing Temporary Work
We are currently recruiting LGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing temporary work based at Heathrow, working with a major global freight forwarding company.
We have a variety of shifts available throughout the day and night, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for regular work and flexible shift options.
Pay & Shifts
GBP19.60 GBP24.70 per hour PAYE
Rates depend on shift start time and weekend working
Minimum 8-hour shifts
Overtime available
Day, evening and night shifts
Weekday and weekend work available
Ongoing temporary assignments
PAYE only no LTD/umbrella
The Work
You will be responsible for the safe and professional collection and delivery of freight and air cargo.
Work will involve collections and deliveries from:
Heathrow (LHR)
Gatwick (LGW)
Stansted (STN)
Luton (LTN)
East Midlands Airport (EMA)
Freight depots
Distribution centres
Other locations throughout the South of the UK
This is predominantly general freight and logistics work supporting a major global freight forwarding operation.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
Valid Category CE / Class 1 driving licence
Valid DQC / Driver CPC card
Valid Digital Tachograph card
Valid passport and right to work in the UK
Minimum 5-year checkable history
Clean/satisfactory criminal record check
No more than 3 points on your driving licence
Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes
Previous Class 1 driving experience
Good communication skills
Reliable and professional approach to work
Advantageous
The following would be beneficial:
C/O Aviation Certificate
Existing DBS
Previous airport or air-freight experience
Experience working with freight forwarders
Knowledge of Heathrow and other UK airports
