Shifts: Days: 06:00 - 17:00 plus some weekend shifts
Rota: This is a 24/7 operation, shifts will be discussed upon interview.
The Role
Our client is looking for a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead their production team. Youll be responsible for running the plant, managing staff, meeting targets, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Main Duties
·Oversee day-to-day shift operations
·Lead, support and motivate your team
·Hit production and quality targets
·Complete shift paperwork accurately
·Ensure Health & Safety rules are followed
·Communicate clearly with other supervisors and managers
·Reduce downtime and improve efficiency
·Support training and continuous improvement
What Youll Need
·Experience in a fast-paced production environment (waste/recycling a bonus)
·Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
·Good knowledge of maintenance and plant equipment
·Confidence using automated systems (PLCs)
Qualifications
·NEBOSH (advantageous)
·COTC (desirable)
·Equipment licenses (e.g., forklift, telehandler, shovel) are a plus
