Location: Heston
Salary: Up to GBP38,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 18:30 (10-hour shifts including paid breaks)
Overtime: Paid overtime available; occasional Saturdays and late Fridays as required
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a team of 7, including 2 administrative staff, in a busy air cargo operation. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on leadership experience within the air cargo industry, ensuring efficient, compliant, and safe warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 7 staff (including 2 admin)
·Oversee daily air cargo warehouse operations
·Ensure compliance with aviation security protocols and warehouse regulations
·Operate and manage forklifts safely and efficiently
·Provide cover on occasional Saturdays and extended hours when operational needs demand
·Coordinate with other departments to meet delivery deadlines and service levels
Essential Requirements
·Previous warehouse leadership experience within the air cargo industry
· Forklift operation experience
·Working knowledge of X-ray, ETD, and FREDD screening processes
·Ability to obtain a 5-year employment referencing and pass a clear DBS check
·Willingness to work extended hours and occasional Saturdays (paid overtime)
·Strong understanding of health & safety and airside security procedures
