Transport Coordinator
Temp - Perm.
Immediate start available.
Salary: £28,000 per year.
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week start times from 6am – 9am.
Location: Birmingham (B8).
We are working with a Birmingham-based Transport and Haulage organisation who are seeking a Transport Coordinator to join their Transport team.
As a Transport Coordinator, you will be supporting both internal and external stakeholders in providing an efficient and proactive service whilst maintaining excellent customer service.We are seeking a dynamic Transport Coordinator who ideally has previous experience working within a high-volume multi-drop environment. Pallet network experience would be desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
·Control collection functions of around 27 trucks
·Answering incoming calls and responding to queries via telephone, email and Nexus messaging
·Resolving any issues and escalations
·Liaising internally with warehouse, customer service and drivers
·Updating the system and completing reports in a timely manner
·General admin and team support
·Monitoring driver performance systemically
·Any other function related tasks when required
