Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Operations Agent to start their career with an established Freight Forwarder.

Ideally our client would like some freight experience, and will train where necessary, 80% office based and 20% warehouse picking and packing.

Client will also train on Health and Safety , software and GDP procedures.

Role Involves:

·Receiving daily orders by email and liaising with the warehouse for picking and packing of the orders. (where necessary you may support the team with picking /packing)

·Process orders from start to finish - most same day, creating to scanning of completed jobs.

·Booking shipments / prepare all paperwork with Courier on daily basis.

·Ensure POD is provided for each delivery & following up with courier.

·Completing daily report for individual customers.

·Weekly stock reconciliation for customers

·Receiving and putting away of customer stock with the warehouse team.

·Liaising with customers.

·Training in Air Freight Operations / Compliance.



We are looking for a flexible individual who is happy to support in all areas when needed.

Good Customer service / IT skills and a keen interest to join the freight forwarding industry. Basic MS Office skills essential.



This role is a good scope to develop at a later stage, client is happy to support with any additional training courses



Hours Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Salary GBP24K
