Description
We are working with a medium size forwarder who have an exciting opportunity for an Air Export Clerk to join a small successful team.



Our client is looking for some experience of start to finish Air Exports.



Role Involves:

·Shipping coordination, receiving shipment details via EDI/email, create job files, and airway bills.

·Input data onto internal systems.

·Calculate job costs, raise sales invoices, negotiate freight rates and issue export quotations to clients and partners.

·Communicate with customers and overseas offices to coordinate export collections and operations.

·Complete export documentation, submit customs exports declarations via CDS (ASM/Sequoia and perform post flight tracking.

·Maintain export databases and SOPs, handle billing and job costing and perform general admin tasks like filing.



Experience

·Previous Air Export experience.

·Good knowledge of Airway bills, etc.

·Good Customs knowledge.

·Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

·Able to prioritise workload.

·Reliable with good time keeping.



Monday to Friday 36.5 hour a week. Can work either of the shifts need to stick to one.

8am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm
