HGV Class 2 Driver – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Southend-on-Sea, SS2
Pay Rate: £14.40 – £16.20 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:45 – 15:15 (42.5 hours per week)
We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client’s team in Southend-on-Sea. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability and a great working environment.
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for operating vehicles to collect household waste and recycling, ensuring all duties are carried out safely and to a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive and operate Class 2 vehicles for household waste and recycling collections
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
Requirements:
Full, clean UK driving licence
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 2 vehicles
Previous experience in waste or recycling operations is an advantage
