Transport Operations / Planner
Location: Birmingham (B46 1HQ)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Hours: Mon–Fri 12–9pm + 4/5 hours every other Sunday (remote once trained)
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Transport Operations Planner to join our clients transport team. You’ll plan and coordinate daily transport for a fleet of around 8 vehicles, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and great customer service.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and monitor fleet movements for around 20 - 23 vehicles (all class of vehicles)Â
- Plan and implement transportation schedules and routes
- Liaise with drivers, customers & warehouse teams
- Ensure transport compliance and accurate paperwork
- Support continuous improvement and team performance
What we’re looking for:
- Previous transport planning / operations experience
- Strong communication & organisational skills
- A can-do attitude and attention to detail
