Ocean Freight / Multimodal Operator
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00

We are recruiting for an experienced Ocean Freight / Multimodal Operator to join a growing forwarding team. The role focuses on sea freight import and export operations, with the opportunity to develop skills in air and road freight.
Key Duties:
Manage sea freight import/export files end to end
Liaise with customers, agents, and suppliers
Arrange customs clearance, documentation, and delivery
Support air and road freight bookings
Ensure accurate costing and invoicing
Make outbound customer calls to support multi-modal growth
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years’ sea freight experience
Knowledge of customs procedures
Strong communication and organisational skills
Customer-focused and detail-oriented
