- Logistics Sales Co-ordinator required to join this busy, professional company based close to Bishopsgate, London
Please note that the term will be 6 to 8 months, salary scale cGBP37K to GBP40K plus a 2K retention bonus at the end of the required term.
Duties of the position include:
Main Purpose of Job:
Liaise and co-ordinate efficiently between Companies, sales groups, distributors, suppliers and service providers for the supply and distribution of the company products overseas (Mainly Spare Parts and support for Transport Businesses).

Customer liaison
·Dealing with all requests in a timely manner

·Establish and sustain close working relationships with customers
·Update and maintain accurate records
·Issue commission reports in accordance with policy/procedure
Shipping
·Organise and plan the shipments of all parts products to our distributors.
·Organise the shipments through our Service Provider.
·Issue relevant shipping documents on our bespoke system in a timely and accurate manner for agent to complete customs clearance and issue B/L or other.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner (Final documents to customer) as per procedure
·Dangerous goods forms
·Adapt and adjust the logistical needs of the distributor where possible
·Deal with insurance matters for part/vehicle damage according to procedure as appropriate
·Study new stock and logistical solutions for managing new business opportunities (when requested to do so).
In the beginning of the contract, we will ask the person to work in the office 5 days a week until they are familiar with the job requirements and can work on their own initiative and then can work at home two days a week. ( 3 days in the office, 2 days at home fixed).
Hours of working are in the office 8:30 to 4:30 1/ 2 hour for lunch or 8:30 to 5:00 and 1 hour lunch.
When working at home the hours are 9 to 5:30.
