Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional looking to excel in the fast-paced world of air freight? Our client is seeking a dedicated Air Import Operator to join their expanding team at Heathrow.
Role Overview:
As an Import Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing the air freight import services. You will be responsible for liaising with partners, carriers, and clients, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to Company's stringent procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end Air Freight Import operations.
Arranging shipments with origin.
Arranging customs clearance and delivery.
Keeping our in-house system updated and with relevant costs incurred.
Excellent customer service skills are required.
Coordinate with partners, carriers, and clients.
Utilise company systems (One World, Multi Freight).
You'll have:
2-3+ years minimum Import experience.
Proficient using Excel, Word and Outlook
Understanding of freight procedures.
System proficiency (Multi Freight preferred).
Strong communication & organisation.
Commercial awareness.
Teamwork & problem-solving skills
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Salary up to GBP35K depending on experience
