Account Manager – Freight

Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry.

Offering a salary of between £32,000 and £39,000 per year, depending on experience. 

Based in Bristol.

We are working with a leading Freight and Logistics organisation who offer solutions across Sea, Air and Road freight, covering both Imports and Exports.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager, with experience in Air, Sea or Road freight to join a thriving team and make a commercial impact from the beginning.

The role of Account Manager will include:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, guaranteeing customers receive a tailored and personalised service, striving to build customer loyalty.
• Push GP growth by identifying opportunities for new business across a variation of product lanes, ensuring to secure ongoing shipments.
• Driving repeat business by playing a pivotal role in ensuring all jobs are running efficiently and correctly.
• Working to establish clear profit margins on all accounts and services, maximising these wherever possible.
• Building and maintaining close working relationships with new and existing suppliers.

To be considered for the role of Account Manager, we are seeking a candidate who:

• Has previously worked in Road, Air or Sea Freight.
• Possesses an incredible working knowledge of Freight Operations, also including Imports, Exports and Cross-trades.
• Has proven experience in account management, and experience building their own client portfolio.
• Holds the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with a variety of individuals.
• Carries outstanding customer service and negotiation skills.
