Temp to perm position – immediate start available.

Paying between £28,000 and £30,000 per year, depending on experience. 

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 17:30pm. 

Based in Basildon. 

We are seeking an experienced Freight Administrator to work for a leading Freight and Logistics organisation based in Basildon. This role will focus on data input and customer service across road freight shipments.

This is an ongoing temporary position, with the view to become permanent. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Data input.
• Processing export bookings.
• Ensuring compliance for export customs clearances.
• Liaising with key stakeholders, partners and customers. 
• Dealing with incoming queries.
• Monitoring inboxes.
• Updating systems. 
• Cross-checking information.
• General office administration as and when required.

Experience required for the role of Freight Administrator:

• Excellent administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 
• Experience in a Freight or Logistics environment. 

Candidates will need to have a 5-year checkable work history and a clean criminal record.
